School tennis
School tennis lessons are run in alignment with Tennis Australia's Hot Shots programs. They are group tennis lessons where kids can learn to play tennis with their friends.

How long does the lesson go for?
The lesson will run for 30 minutes, giving the kids enough time to eat their snack or lunch either before or after the lesson.
Where and when does my child meet for their tennis lesson?
Children will be allocated to either a lunchtime or recess lesson. At the beginning of their lesson, they will meet Jacob at the back of the playground, nearest to the tennis courts.
What if my child forgets about their tennis lesson?
If a child is missing, the school office will call for the child over the loud speaker. The coach will wait until the child has had a reasonable amount of time to get to the gate/fence near the courts.
Does my child need to bring their own racket?
Yes, it is advised that the kids bring their rackets to school with them as there are a limited number of spare rackets available. The spare rackets are kept in case your child forgets their racket on the day.
Cancellation / missed lessons policy
Lessons missed due to rain, school excursions, school swimming classes, and public holidays will be made up at the end of the term. Attendance records will be kept so all children are provided with an opportunity to get their lessons. Any missed lessons without notice will not be eligible for a make-up lesson.
Is my child's racket suitable?
Often the primary aged kids need modified smaller rackets. We sell them for $30 for anyone needing one. The Coaches have a range of sizes that can be suitably matched to the child’s needs. Larger rackets made from premium materials are also available for the older children - these rackets start from approximately $100.
