In the event of extreme heat or wet weather, the coaching staff will notify you of a cancelled lesson either via text, email or the @jgrillstennis instagram story. We are constantly assessing the weather and will try to give cancellation notice as soon as possible to prevent unnecessary travel. If there is no communication from the coaching staff, please assume the lesson will go ahead. The synthetic grass surface tends to withhold wet weather better than the hard courts, so on occasions some coaching will continue at the Asbury Street Venue and not the Shell Road Venue. 

All sessions lost to bad weather will be made up in the final week of term or at another time arranged with the coach. If a make up session cannot be completed, it is your responsibility to email admin@jgrillstennis.com.au to organise a credit in the form of a holiday clinic session where suitable, or in the following term if not possible during the holidays.

PRIVATE LESSONS - If you cannot make a private lesson you will need to contact admin@jgrillstennis.com.au with at least 48 hours notice - the earlier the better! This will hopefully allow sufficient time for your coach to optimise their time and run another session. Please be mindful that late notice will limit the window of opportunity for another player to fill your spot. 

GROUP LESSONS - In the scenario of your child being unwell and where sufficient notice has been given, a make up lesson in a similar group on another night/time can be arranged. It is your responsibility to contact admin@jgrillstennis.com.au to organise this make up lesson prior to the completion of the term. Absences for any other reason will not be made up - your group lesson is a term commitment and your coach still has to run the lesson for the rest of the group. 

Please note, refunds will not be offered for any missed lessons. Instead, a credit or a make up lesson will be discussed. Any no-shows will not equate to a credit or a make up lesson. 

In the circumstance where your coach is unwell, a substitute coach will be arranged. If not possible, your lesson will be automatically credited or made up at a later date.
